All adoption pets are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Hours at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center are Tuesday-Friday from 11:30am-7:00pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12:00-5:00pm. All interactions must begin at least one hour before close. Please call us at (402) 441-4488 ext. 1 with any questions.

What's Included in the Adoption Fee?

A health exam by the shelter veterinary staff
Spay/Neuter
Treatment for fleas, ticks, and mites (if present)
Treatment for intestinal parasites
Heartworm test for canines
Feline Leukemia/FIV test for felines
Microchip & Microchip registration
DA2PP & Bordetella vaccinations for canines
FVRCP vaccination for felines

*Additional fees will be collected for the rabies vaccination and city license when applicable.

A $35.00 Lincoln Animal Control city license will be charged to adopters living within city limits. No license fee is charged to those living outside Lincoln city limits.

Seniors for Seniors: Provides a 50% discount on adoption fees for senior animals to adopters age 60 and over.
